Soukaina is an Agricultural Engineer from the Higher Polytechnical School of Engineering of the University of Almeria, she holds a Master’s Degree in Foreign Trade and International Relations from The Malaga Chamber of Commerce. Soukaina has over 7 years of development experience focusing on improving agricultural productivity yields, studying & assessing different Agri-value chains including recent exploration of the potential for use of digital technologies in several private companies in Andalusia. She has played key roles in commissioning and delivering high quality research, evaluation and knowledge products on 3 key AfDB & WB contracts and she is constantly part of the Business Development team, seeking new bids. Soukaina is a strong communicator, able to facilitate and engage with diverse stakeholders and build trusted relationships, being originally from Morocco, and a native speaker of French, Arabic and Spanish. Her approach is centered on the identification of lessons to build capacity and sustainability. She has a keen interest in the application of agroecology and permaculture principles and the value they offer to agricultural, green-growth and climate change awareness projects while providing livelihood opportunities for smallholder farmers.
